Dublin, Calif. The perfect weather.

How did you get involved in the Green Industry?

I joined Ewing in 2006 with an Environmental Horticulture Science degree from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, previous experience as a Horticultural Specialist, and a passion for sustaining California’s environment.

As a student, I gained nursery and propagation experience at the Tucson Botanical Gardens, and spent time instructing students on plant propagation and served as a greenhouse laboratory assistant and manager at the University of Arizona. I also gained experience as a greenhouse manager for the Interior Foliage Project Greenhouses at Cal Poly, and as a grower’s assistant for Metrolina Greenhouses, Inc.

Now, as a Water Management Specialist for Ewing, I aim to increase the use of water efficient technology in the landscape environment.
