Irrigation and Landscape Communicators Invited to a TOCA Fireside Chat at the December Irrigation Show

November 4, 2016, Phoenix, Ariz.—In the crisp days of early December, irrigation and landscape professionals across the U.S. will gather in Las Vegas for the annual Irrigation Show and Education Conference. During this event, the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association (TOCA) will proudly host its TOCA Fireside Chat: Communicating in a Business to Business Culture, a unique communications and networking hour for communication professionals. The hour will commence at the Irrigation Show on Dec. 7 at 2 p.m., and is sponsored by Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply.

Kristy Mach, associate director for TOCA, believes this will be an hour where communicators can both be encouraged to continue to strive for excellence in their field and meet new faces in the industry. “TOCA members come from all facets of green industry communications. They are publishers, editors, writers, marketing and public relations professionals, social media experts, content creators and more. Our gatherings not only offer great networking opportunities, but professional development that lifts everyone communicating in the green industry.”

Featured speaker Cliff Woodbury, Senior Vice President of Culture and Engagement, will discuss ways communicators can strengthen and better business-to-business communication within their companies and industry.

He will be available after the session for follow up questions.

TOCA board member and Ewing’s Director of Communications Lacy Ravencraft encourages anyone interested in communications within the irrigation and landscape industries to attend. “TOCA gives you instant access to a network of like-minded communications professionals, and there is real value in sharing experiences and working toward common goals for our industry. This year’s Fireside Chat focuses on some important lessons for reaching audiences in the most effective way—on their terms.”

Time is precious, networking is an invaluable tool and opportunities to grow in your trade are priceless. TOCA Fireside Chat takes all of these elements into account and creates an unforgettable hour communicators should not miss.
